High school graduates and college students of Brazilian descent are invited to apply for the Viva Brasil STL Scholarship and take the next step toward their academic dreams.
✅ Eligibility

Brazilian descent (at least one grandparent)
Resident of the Greater St. Louis area
Enrolled or accepted into a community college, undergraduate, or postgraduate program
All fields of study welcome, with priority for Education and Arts
10 hours of volunteer service with Viva Brasil STL during the academic year
Submit a video (up to 3 minutes) explaining:
Why you are applying
How you plan to contribute to the community through your volunteer service
Cannot be related to a board member or selection committee

Walking, Community & Portuguese Practice
Caminha Brasil is back — and you’re invited to join us for a light, friendly and energizing community walk!
Every two weeks, we meet at different parks across St. Louis to walk, talk and practice Portuguese in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The goal is simple: promote well‑being, strengthen community bonds, and create opportunities for Brazilians, Portuguese speakers and friends to connect, socialize and enjoy Brazilian culture outdoors.
Each meetup takes place in a different park, always at 9:00AM, offering new scenery, new conversations and new friendships.
Come walk, enjoy nature and practice Portuguese with Viva Brasil STL!
